About Coach Tim Wilson
"Golf Coach Tim" Tim Wilson, brings over 22 years of coaching and teaching experience, with a primary focus on creating consistency and precision in golf swings. Tim's passion and expertise in the sport reflect in his coaching style, helping golfers improve their game both in person and online.
As well as teaching and coaching Tim is an former and active competitor. He spent 3 years playing professionally on The PGA Tour Canada, and the NGA Tour from 2002-2005. He currently competes in local, regional and national PGA of Canada events. But his first passion is teaching and coaching and for that he was recognised as the PGA of Canada Teacher of the Year 2021.
Tim is the current Lead Teaching Professional at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club, The Head Coach of the Shaughnessy Academy, the Assistant Coach to the UBC Men's and Women's Teams, The Lead Instructor for the St. George's Academy Team, and the Lead instructor for the Crofton House Golf Team.
